GOP pushing hard for Moore to withdraw. But even if he does, name stays on ballot. @NateSilver538 notes candidates who quit but stay get lot of votes--20% to 25% of pre-withdrawal polling. Still splits GOP vote, helps Jones.http://ow.ly/Es6P30gCwSP

Shame GOP didn't choose to defend him or at least stay neutral like the dems do when their people are attacked. GOP has done a lot of damage to themselves with this one especially following so close GOP doing the same thing to POTUS Trump during his election.

I would note that the GOP does benefit some from taking principled approaches.

I’m truly curious, if it hypothetically comes out he’s correct in his denials and you and the rest of naysayers are proven wrong, will you be apologizing on public media for rush to judgement? As I remember it it’s innocent till proven guilty by a jury of peers

@BRETBAIER 6 is now most likely because of actions of @SenateMajLdr & @SenateGOP If they had shut-up & left it up to AL voters 5 would have been most likely

Here's betting Alabamans resent elites in DC or NY telling them whether to vote for Moore.

It's on Alabama's governor to call for a new date for the election. That's the only rational move. So don't expect it.

GOP establishment is controlled opposition, helping the Dem will preserve the swamp. Wasn’t it McConnell who said that “all this drain the swap talk has to stop”.

Not what I’m hoping for because I support rule of law even if other side doesn’t, but can’t say I wouldn’t take perverse pleasure in Moore dropping out, GOP replacing him on the ballot, and the Alabama Supremes’ decision being the NJ Supremes’ Torricelli decision verbatim.

You say that as if there's a question whether the GOP prefers the Dem winning this election. Is it not obvious enough?

Is there a connection between Moore’s “fake accusers” and Menendez’s “hung jurors”? Just a question - not an accusation of Dems.

Perhaps more publicity re this race than any drop out race before (emphasis on 'perhaps'). But that could help or hurt Moore. I wouldn't even hazard a guess.
