Hospital profit margin, 2008: 2.6%. 2014: 8.3% (highest on record). Of course they like Obamacare. From @TPCarney:http://ow.ly/h2T630dJ28K

More insurers = more patients getting care = more profit for hospitals. Get over it-- it's a GOOD THING when people get care.

And ACA means less bad debt for hospitals- i.e. Those without insurance that cone to ER & cant pay.

What not-for-profit hospitals do with their "excess revenue" (for god's sake, don't call it "profit" or they'll lose their tax exemption)

"No one should Profit from the Suffering of Another" - I'm afraid that's not a winning argument. They have to be beaten into submission 😄

It would be a lot easier just to pass single payer. Gov't would negotiate prices on all goods & services - which Medicare now does in part.

Single Payer would be great, if not, at least Single Set of Rules(then Docs just treat & not look up what's covered).

soooooo, you would prefer that hospitals lose money and have to close up in rural areas especially? Is that the GOP plan spunky?
