Sounds more like freedom of suppression.

I'm not about to label anyone, but doesn't this remind everyone of the late 30's in Germany?
-
Sure does. Authoritarianism, totalitarianism comes from all directions but it's the same Repression and control
-
5. So put a sock on it on authoritarianism from the place that you have the greatest promoter of fascism. Trump and Co
-
"united and obedient to the single authority of the state" a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
-
Man, you quote things that are not relevant here. You shld quote this for Putin's or Erdogan's regime but not Germany of 2017

We Finns prefer the german way. You guys with unlimited free speech elected Trump. I rest my case.
-
Enjoy your repression. I don't think keeping Europe free of Nazism & communism was worth it. You're basically wimps.
-
You guys elected Trump. No one is interested in your opinions anymore. Sorry, don't mean to be rude, it's just the way it is.
-
We couldn't care less Protect yourselves from now on. Not our job.

The German leaders appear to have lost their minds. They're turning on native Germans in favor of "migrants."

Merkel's plan all along. Do u think all this "just happened?"pic.twitter.com/FfCqklaoeT

I agree with
@geertwilderspvv . This is all part of a population replacement plan.

This really is the European way. There is no jurisdiction in Europe that's ever been American, so to speak, on free speech. Nor wanted to /1
-
But now technology has caused a clash of American & various European views on the matter: How does this plays out? American confidence? /2
-
Or is a combination of international-aristocracy-of-tech&experts & popular anger-diffidence going to change American practices instead? /3
-
But European jurisdictions don't feel any pressure from America & the important politicians now look at America as a kind of danger! /4
-
-
For European politics, governors & governed are & should stay separate. Free speech screws with that--it's natives getting restless. /6fin
-
Some good points but there's more complexity. I doubt the US state dept. cares if European govts crack down on nationalistic free speech.
-
Because a flourishing of right-wing populism in Europe (esp. western Europe) would broadly mean a geopolitical pivot towards Russia
