Ocare hurt more ppl than it helped. Medicaid recipients not happy. Very few Drs take Medicaid, procedures and drugs are not covered.

Have insurance but can't afford healthcare 'cuz of the premiums and deductibles. Yep, O-care is THE ad for GOV to GET OUT OF "healthcare"!

I agree w your sentiment, middle class ppl can get screwed with O-care. I'd feel better if ACHA gave the $ back to ppl and not to the rich.

I 100% get the problem of high premiums & deductibles, but the old "solution" was to not cover very sick people or deny specific treatments.

I don't know how we reconcile high costs & reliable coverage with no one wanting to pay. Our leaders are not being honest about tradeoffs.

The reason I categorize ACA as a failure: a lot of it spells out steps that were supposed to reduce costs, which it does not

I'm a big supporter of the ACA, but you're right. It did a bit to "bend the cost curve", but it's really about universal access to insurance

"Universal Access to Insurance Act" would be a more accurate name, but it would not have passed

The 1st step is to stop using health care and health insurance as synonymous terms- they are not. These are health insurance bills -period

MKH is great at making the points of how there are trade offs in ACA- just a shift in suffering. Many don't like to see these points made
