Been hearing this a little in the GOP 'rigged' debate: Does anyone think winner-take-all is an example of the system being rigged?

@ByronYork This guy. The aim of winner-take-all is to discourage minor candidates and consolidate quickly behind one candidate.

@ByronYork no, it goes thru ballot box. GOP process would be more intuitive if candidate him/herself could fill awarded delegate slots.

@ByronYork Not rigged per se, but there are those in the GOP who argue that Ruke 38/Unit Rule prohibits winner-take-all allocation.

@ByronYork No - because at least citizens have a chance to cast a vote, and its the voters's votes that determine the winner.

@ermatt @ByronYork ..but in the case of a plurality the majority of voters don't want the "winner". WTA throws their votes away.

@JonofLeyden @ByronYork The majority of votes win in WTA, which is fair.

@Waycooljr62 @JonofLeyden @ByronYork My point is that in WTA at least the voters had some say in the selection process vs. no voting at all

@ermatt @JonofLeyden @ByronYork 65,000 people voted in Colorado. Trump did not bitch about the system until he lost. Got it?

@emilykholcomb @ByronYork it's not just FL. South Carolina is another. Point is DT would have less delegates now if %of vote=%of delegates
