Sincerely appreciate all the feedback on this column. I have heard from so many college coaches and administrators who said the sudden, season-ending meetings yesterday were just heartbreaking, seeing the disappointment in their athletes — especially the seniors.

Let's hope the NCAA offers a one-time waiver to play next year to seniors who had their season's stolen from them by the virus.
