It's funny how heavy rain is more of a problem when your land is suddenly below sea level because sea level is rising. It's almost like water collects in low areas or something.
That makes no sense. If the shore was below sea level it would have been flooded before the storm. Common sense and logic.
You're right, that's why zero areas ever flood during floods, and also why swamps are a myth. We know Michigan and Florida don't really exist. People SAY they are areas that flood constantly to the point where in a lot of places they can't even dig cemeteries, but we know better.
There are areas nowhere near the sea that are swampy. It's called a high water table. Climate change has been happening for 4 billion years. Our planet has always been changing. Big deal, we improvise, we adapt. Dry your panties and get on with life, or build a houseboat
I think this is proof of the kneejerk compulsion for conservatives to argue with liberals without thought, with the desperate thirst to be able to bring the conversation around to what wimps/big girls (girl=bad) liberals are. Even when they reveal they themselves agree.
