Controversy over Brett Kavanaugh's nomination has raised the question: Should 17-year-old boys be held responsible later in life for alleged sexual assault? That depends on whose pain we value most.https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/shannonkeating/brett-kavanaugh-me-too-brock-turner-sexual-assault?bftwnews&utm_term=4ldqpgc#4ldqpgc …

Alleged? No. They should be held accountable for proven sexual assault.

Yes they should! I've got 4 sons and everyone of them has been raised to respect girls & women, well practically everyone as they know if they do something they shouldn't they're be hell 2 pay from me. When were out & about I'm always told how polite my boys are, so proud of them

This is bullshit. Not getting a promotion is a far cry from being “held responsible”.

Report it when it happens: “You’ll ruin his future!” Report it years later: “That was in his past!” When do women matter?

There’s such a thing as proof and truth. Innocent until PROVEN otherwise. This Kavanaugh event is a leaky boat backwards and forwards.

Solution: remove all females uterus. Remove all males testicles and penis. End procreation for 2 generations. That should solve future problems.

By the age of 17, boys should know better than to try to assault a girl or woman. No excuse. Even at 10, they should know better than to hold their hand over ANYONE'S mouth! That action alone should be viewed as unacceptable to all of us.

And here I thought justice was to be blind to race, gender, power, position, wealth, popularity, etc. -- totally impartial. The court of public opinion certainly isn't! Political decision making isn't, nor MSM. Anybody realize the courts are our only hope, last line of defense?

It's culturally driven: if (inthiscase) Kavanaugh would acknowledge his actions and 'd sincerely regret them*, the victim most likely wld feel a bit better and might even 'forgive' him, but society (focused on retaliation) wld ask for his head. *not by public pressure. @__keating

Let's reframe this question to fit this situation. Do parents feel comfortable allowing a middle-aged man, who was accused of sexually assaulting a 16 years old girl when he was 17 years old, to coach their 15 & 16 years old daughters?
