Ooh, I know this one!
If you sexually assault
ANYONE
EVER
then YES, you should be held responsible until the sweet day when death cleanses our Planet of your vile existance.

Just go back to Kavanaugh’s ruling a year ago about the denying the right to an abortion for the 17yr old immigrant. He said a 17yr olds decision can have life-long consequences.

So they should be able to rape or attempt to rape with no penalty because they're 17? Seriously? That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. Theft, vandalism, maybe. But assault or violent crimes? No.pic.twitter.com/n6atm926sl

This sends a horrible message to today's young men: Your actions as youth don't matter, there is no accountability...ever.

Oh if only he had done this when he was 18 so we wouldn’t have to worry about this

I think they should be especially with a privileged upbringing like his. Those type of men rarely change because no one ever told them their sense of entitlement is wrong.

Leave aside what he did for a moment; lying about what he did is of perpetual significance.

If you are 17 and you kill someone that is usually something that affects the rest of your life...and it should. Being 17 shouldn't matter if you make a unwise choice.

They are sentencing black and brown 17 year olds to 25-to-life as adults, so the answer is yes.

Yes they should be held accountable. By the time they are 17, they should know what is right and wrong. Locking doors, covering mouth, increasing the volume all indicates they knew what they were doing was wrong. Ffs this is more than mere assault.

Guys. This headline. "Should 17-year-old boys be held responsible later in life for alleged sexual assault?" Yes. Yes. Yes. If it was revealed a 17 year old was involved in theft, or a hit and run, no matter how much time passed, we wouldn't be asking this question.

Sexual assault is sexual assault. It's not a victimless "kids will be kids" lapse in judgement. It has a lasting, terrifying impact on it's victims and it's ABSOLUTELY just to hold adults responsible for assault in the past.

Teenagers make dumb decisions. They do. Violating someone else's body is not a "dumb decision". We should not treat it as such.
