Sheriff Honea has been incredibly inept in handling this emergency!! No info or updates are being provided for when the roads will be open!!This leaves the victims who’s houses are still standing homeless without any resources and no way to make plans for living arrangements!!!

Weeks have gone by now and the displaced Magalia residents are STILL homeless!!! They can’t get any Federal aid because they still have houses standing !!! They can’t go home because the incompetent sheriff refuses to open the roads!!!! It is an IMPOSSIBLE living situation!!

The sheriff’s office actually suggested people get to Magalia via Butte Meadows!!! How incredibly stupid is that!!!??? That road is unsafe even in the best conditions and now winter is coming!! We have to drive back and forth to work every day!!!
