Waking up at 4:30 a.m. sounds painful, but once it becomes routine, you'll start to reap the rewardspic.twitter.com/APdOt7dUZe

Getting up early is practical and creates self-discipline
Former Navy SEALs and "Extreme Ownership" authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin talk about the importance of waking up at 4:30 am every single day.

When I wake up at 8am on the weekend, I consider myself a failure for not sleeping until 10am.

😂 same. Yet when I have to be up at 6:30am for work and am tweeting instead of sleeping - I don't see a problem 😂

There is no point in waking up any day at 4:30am, no rewards, nothing. Unless there is a clear objective and a serious reason to do it , it's pointless and hold no value. Get some rest and wake up whenever it makes sense to your own goals and life.

Counterpoint: night owls get more done between 10pm and 1am than most people get done all day. And it's wonderfully quiet without all the noisy morning birds around who won't shut up about how early they wake up as though it were a moral virtue.
