Sounds good. My only concern, which you pointed out, is that the amount of qualified players may be too high. Other than that, I really like it :)

My only suggestion for your concern, to do something like HGG points worked out years ago, People doing points, and region comunity to vote for representants

I would make it such that winning an open cup, top 16ing ladder and 7-2ing MT don’t outright qualify for the next MT. You earn the max possible points for achieving that, but the point threshold should be higher so that 1 off highrolls aren’t rewarded that much

Agreed, I also dislike rewarding single spiked performances. But if they removed insta-qualifications too many people would complain that the system is too grindy so I see it as a compromise

You’re aren’t one of “the best players” just cause you higrolled one cup. People with 50% wr win cups all the time. No one should qualify from just one cup even if it’s a win. I like the idea otherwise though
