This is still incorrect, there is mathematically no added benefit to doing it. You are getting baited here. What this is forgetting is that Novice Engineer can be mulliganed away rather than always kept, same as every other card in hs. It isnt a monty hall problem.

I don't want to defend this stupid theory, but you might want to talk to
@alexander_kargl about it. His argumentation made atleast a bit sense to me but I might be completely wrong here1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

No, i understand the argument that if you always draw the worst card in your deck then when you mulligan your deck will be slightly better. The problem is that this logic falls apart when you consider that any other card will do the same thing with another step of logic.

Any card that you would not keep in the mull is pretty much equivalent to the worst card in your deck, so by throwing it away you also do the same thing of slightly increasing the probability of drawing a good card from your deck.

For further reasoning, let's set up a scenario where we pretend that the card we receive has already been mulliganed once (like the quest). So if we don't draw the worst card in our deck we always keep it. And let's say we draw the worse card in our deck.

In this instance, we drew the worst card and we are allowed to mulligan it! So, just like if we had a quest in our deck, we avoid drawing the worst card without even needing the quest in the first place. So yes, sometimes when you mulligan you will receive a worse card

Then what you initially had, but this is in no way a liability of not doing the stupid quest strat, it's an option only afforded to you because you ARENT running the quest. Nevermind all of the other idiotic reasons that having a dead card sucks.

So yeah, you can do the exact stupid quest mull strat without even needing a quest in your deck. This stupid fucking strat (SFS) is even better than the stupid quest strat (SQS) for multiple reasons. 1, SFS leaves you with a card that isn't just a dead card.

2, SFS will give you the info of what card you will get post mull 29/30 times which can give you info on how to mulligan your other cards, whereas SQS info only comes AFTER the mulligan. In short, it's only downsides, don't do this, it's unbelievably dumb.
