I don't want to defend this stupid theory, but you might want to talk to @alexander_kargl about it. His argumentation made atleast a bit sense to me but I might be completely wrong here

No, i understand the argument that if you always draw the worst card in your deck then when you mulligan your deck will be slightly better. The problem is that this logic falls apart when you consider that any other card will do the same thing with another step of logic.

Any card that you would not keep in the mull is pretty much equivalent to the worst card in your deck, so by throwing it away you also do the same thing of slightly increasing the probability of drawing a good card from your deck.
