It was very disappointing not seeing LHS as one of the options. Most competitive players I know agree it's the best format out of everything we tried but apparently they aren't even considering it.
100% agree that LHS gives the best competitive edge, but I can also understand that LHS is probably the most complex format to understand for new players/viewers
I get their thinking but I'm not sure if they are right about an average viewer/player. From my experience people watch esports broadcast to see complex stuff not to avoid it. Even if you don't understand everything it creates a sense of "epicness".
There are plenty of casual viewers who watch Dota and LoL despite their complicated draft phases (and games being complex in general).
