So why do we spend $700 billion a year on defense, but almost nothing on fighting climate change?

The oil spill off the CA coast is another reason we need to go green...and the Gulf off LA, FL, MS, AL...there won't be much left for the future. Glad I am childless. By choice.

Imagine what we could achieve if we redirected $100 billion of defense funds to planting native trees.
Have reforestation projects at every level. Could make it part of biology curricula at every grade level through high school. Competitive grants. City competitions.
