Really Lauren? So if a woman is raped it's her fault for not having a gun?
This is classic victim blaming. Women should not have to carry a gun at all times to feel safe & in control of their bodies.

I don't want to live in a world where women have to carry guns to fight off rapists. The GOP seems to think guns are the answer to everything, b/c they get a cut of the profits. We should have a safe environment for all, not a🌏of gun slingers &women being blamed for being raped.

Guns are useless for defense against rape. Assuming worn as a side arm… you must unholster, chamber a round (no comment if you wear a ready pistol), take off safe, point and shoot. For a highly trained person that’s 7 seconds when a bigger, stronger man can attack.
