Word of the day is 'bayard' (1600s): someone with an unshakeable self-confidence that is rooted in ignorance.
This is my dog Cooper, he is a "Bayard" Beagle. I had never realised the meaning of the B word, he must have though as he has been known to be quite ignorant and is unshakeably self confident.

Awwww look at that face. His expression shows wisdom. Nooooo, beagles are clever! My aunt who had two at one time, used to say 'if food was involved, the girls' IQs were phenomenal! '
