It’s a job. Period. There is no such thing as a job meant for teenagers. That would maybe be the dishes at home and mowing the lawn for the parents. A living wage is just that. Living. Wage. 8 bucks is not it.

$9/hour, the average wage for fast food workers, is liveable. It’s not going to be lavish, but it’s enough to get by which is all you can ask for in the fast food industry. Plus, there’s a large gap between fast food working and being a doctor/lawyer loool

9/hr isn't livable. In my state which has one of the lowest living costs, livable pay for one person is 16/hr. And even that is just barely out of poverty.

Dude. If literally everyone followed your advice, our society wouldn’t function. We need to respect every kind of work because it’s all critical - whether folks have had the opportunity to go to college or not. No one who works should be poor. Period.
