    The Destiny 2 API has yet to be adjusted to reflect the recent in game change to earned XP. We are working on an API update to address the discrepancy. The correct value to earn an additional level is 160,000 XP.

        They rolled back a scaling XP mechanic the other day and people tested it to verify. In game XP and API (like DIM for example) were recording different amounts. Very detailed post on r/dtg

        How are they supposed to know there UI is wrong until someone points it out. I’m not gonna defend them wholeheartedly but don’t be ignorant to how game development works. It’s not like they realized they had to change the API the moment they made the adjustment.
