Pro tip: The Doomsday Clock is entirely meaningless and it's all to drum up drama as a scare tactic.

I remember 1962 - when it was 1 second to midnight... The Cuban Missile crisis... I wonder how today's Snowflake generation would have dealt with that... Nuclear Annihilation expected AT ANY MOMENT..! LITERALLY! Now that was REALLY terrifying..!
-
I remember 66 million BC - when it was 1 second to midnight... The meteor that killed the dinosaurs... I wonder how today's crybaby bunting boomers would have dealt with that.... A literal meteor striking the earth RIGHT NOW..! LITERALLY! Now that was really triassicfying.!

just curious as to what the hysteria you guys are pushing is trying to sell. stocks? doomsday prep stuff? or just to drum up people and see what happens?
-
It’s a Cold War era concept to account for global stability/risk of nuclear war. It’s since become that combined with other potential man made catastrophes that threaten the world such as the climate crisis.

Y’all do know this clock was rest 23 times because they really don’t know when the world will collapse.. it’s a theory clock. Nobody can predict what will happen
-
