    In Super Mario Galaxy, sometimes two Bomps will be on opposite sides of a wall. This is actually the same Bomp; all Bomps in the game have two faces, one on each end. For the vast majority of the game's Bomps, the second face is stuck inside the wall and never sees the outside.

    I wish they’d kept that, it would have been well worth the coin grind to unlock it!

    As seen in The Art of Super Mario Odyssey book, an outfit based off of Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road was considered for the game. Sadly it never made the cut.

    Hooray, I’ve finally beaten the #!*&ing Perfect Run... except oh I haven’t because I decided to see what was underneath the planetoid and it’s the one planetoid in the game that you fall off the edge of instead of walking on the underside... 😩

    After playing Mario Galaxy 1 on the Switch I’ve gone back to the Wii for Galaxy 2. I remembered it being hard but I’ve barely had to retry most stages. It’s actually quite considerate even having checkpoints on Daredevil stages! It’s definitely one of my favourite 3D Mario games.
