1. We will treat data from anyone watching children’s content on http://YouTube.com as coming from a child, regardless of the age of the user. This means we will only collect the data needed to support the operation of the service.

What ab gaming content such as Minecraft? Or Nintendo games. Many of the creators for those games are still more adult focused, with their language and stuff, and machine learning might flag those channels and videos as kid friendly.

Machine learning technology will help identify made for kids content, as defined by the FTC (see D1 of their FAQs for more: https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-coppa-frequently-asked-questions …). Since creators know their videos & target audience best, they’ll also be required to self designate videos as made for kids.

I think "kid friendly" content creators should be shown to all users of YT and that the more mature content should be kinda more hidden to kid users, that way it isn't throwing people that just want to make clean content under the bus because they want of what they make...
