I still have an incredibly vivid memory of my first day working at a studio and what that tasks looked like. I psyched myself out hard. It was july 3rd. The studio was closed the rest of the week after that.

I honestly can't remember!! Though I'm sure 1 of the first big tasks I got working was a custom camera system that followed a character. I still remember to this day after days of nothing working for it to finally all click into place and follow our wee airplane! :') Pure joy

My very first task was doing a run through of Diablo 3 - Act I. Where I promptly found my first bug... at the time if you back tracked with Leah through the Old Ruins, she got stuck & you couldn’t continue the play through.

"Make some marketing screenshots" I was in south France, terrified, excited, unable to talk to anyone properly and not sure what the fuck I was doing there.

Place reflection probes in these nine tiles. And then I just sorta did the whole district. And then another district. And then the entire open world. It was kinda tedious but I figured thats the intern's job. I did the mundane to free up everyone else's time and I was proud to!

I still do like that sort of thing, tbh. I'm more than happy to occasionally take a day or two to organize something, establish a baseline, or get a bunch of stuff in order to make everyone's lives easier.
