Today, I filed SB 364, Bereavement Benefits for Law Enforcement Officers (LEO). This bill includes the sum of $10,000, which will be paid for the funeral and burial expenses of LEO killed in the line of duty. It also gives 8 hrs of bereavement leave to LEO IOT attend the funeral.
