This is my concern. I have 2 adult sons. My younger son was spared when his father and I realized the horror of what we allowed with our first. My daughter is expecting her first son, and her husband is not convinced leaving him intact is the right thing to do.

Even though the cycle has been broken in our family, it could conceivably start up again, and it kills me inside. I'm supporting my daughter and counting on her mother bear instincts to tell her husband, "No!"
