The Q is, who has the prof. responsibility 2 know better? Parents can fool themselves all they want. I ask, YR drs agreeing to comply w/ their wishes? “It’s what parents want,” they’ll say. Would they say that if parents were requesting FGM? IMO, it’s drs who bear responsibility.
