Mine has taken the alternate path in disowning me. I finally can see her true heart. She didn’t love me as I was born, and again, rejects me now for baring my soul of suffering as an adult struggling. Unconditional love is missing.

I will forever be grateful that I read a book describing circumcision when I was a teenager. All i had to know to decide I would never let anyone do that to my babies.

What amazes, twenty years into books and NOCIRC, we still have these mother's who just can't wrap their minds into what circumcision actually is and does. The secretive nature of it in US is beyond belief.
