Got a couple of theories: 1. They value female and only female genital integrity, sexual pleasure, while undervaluing the same in males 2. They may be misandrist and actually quite deliberately support the torture of the characteristic male trait and and feature.
Why are the loud voices against female circumcision strangely silent about male circumcision?

#FGM and exaggerating it may be a diversion tactic in order to protect male infant#circumcision, for either financial, religious or personal reasons. -
For some activists (and their funders), male cutting is so familiar that it must be minimized (and the most extreme female cutting always presented as the norm) in order to continue generating both protests and donations.

Because the majority think its more or less ok with male circumcision, coming from a male circumcising culture, and talking about it, let alone raising one's voice on it, will be detrimental to the fight against female circumcision. Question is how many actually practice MGM?
