"Never attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity". They actually do it from ignorance. They are taught NOTHING about the foreskin except how to cut it off. They don't know the damage they cause and they don't know they cause the damage.
USA doctors order moms to pull back their baby's foreskin for cleaning in order to damage him so they can recommend circumcision.

I’d love to know how much they care. Some if educated might end up opposed to mutilation. Others would end up on the parental/religious rights spectrum with no real thought of their hypocrisy re FGM. Oh man. That happened to a friend of mine. The parent soaked him in a tub every evening and ceased attempts and he healed. Pediatricians once gave out wrong advice on breastfeeding, way back when. I think it’s ignorance. Being Circumcised, they wouldn’t have a clue.
