https://www.urologyhealth.org/urologic-conditions/vesicoureteral-reflux-(vur) … Information about the treatment (both non-invasive and surgical) of kidney reflux. No mention of circumcision.

Less than 1 in 100 boys will get even UTI, and they are usually easily treated with a few days of antibiotics. My daughter had one by age 2, neither of my sons ever have. There's no reason to circumcise a boy to prevent this issue.

Australia doesn't circumcise as a rule, like I said, most doctors refuse to perform them on infants, and we don't have all the problems people are convinced come from boys being left with their whole genitals.

Which parts of your genitals did they recommend to cut off to fix it? Or did they look for other solutions. Surgery may be necessary, kidney problems are serious. Circumcision is not a treatment for them.
