Vivi, this may be a wry reference to Bird Box challenge, where, astoundingly, people are blindfolding themselves (a la f'skin facial fan Sandra Bullock, in Netflix Bird Box film), to go about household tasks. Onion satire's recognising popularity, too, of B Marotta's AC film.

Vivi, it's just a guess...but it does confluence the Sandra B controversy over those 'beauty treatments', her Netflix fiction film's apparent success, and the non-fiction Netflix current hit documentary.
