The article I read that in was trying to find a way to improve the dialogue between Intactivists and the AAP. I found nothing awful in that article and agree with most of it. I say this as someone who can't even watch circ vids anymore.
An informed source reports the AAP's circumcision ethics guru Dr. Diekema claims to suffer PTSD because of intactivist protests.

I don't believe the writer was saying that what that doctor had experienced was worse than MGM. Likely, that doctor is a victim himself. Intactivists do themselves no favours throwing around threats. I understand the anger. People don't respond well to threats.

I try to argue points, avoid swearing (though that gets difficult at times), and ask questions that poke holes in justifications for MGM. I still get blocked a lot, but I find that by trying to be polite, I can usually engage someone for longer before I get blocked.
