I don't see any reason to giggle about the mutilation of a child of either sex. In fact it is one of the most non-funny things I've ever heard of. So yes, people need to grow up.
If Americans would quit giggling about circumcision, they'd grow up & realize it's the gravest human rights abuse of our times.
