#OHareAirport T5 two days later. A traveler returning from Amsterdam took these photos. She was questioned about hotspot travel, temp was taken, told to self-record temp for 2 weeks.#COVID19#coronavirus@fly2ohare#oharepic.twitter.com/N56nHGmAwu

Thank you for yr patience. Customs processing is taking longer than usual inside the Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility bc of enhanced
#COVID19 screening for passengers coming from Europe. We’ve strongly encouraged our federal partners to increase staffing to meet demand. -
I thought incoming flights from Europe were banned? Although I’m on vacation and have purposely limited my news intake so I’m may not be up to date.

And really, the reason doesn’t matter. An influx was expected as the government increased warnings, and put in place new restrictions 2 days ago. They should be better prepared to deal with mass amounts of travelers.

Yup, shut down everything immediately so that people are now stuck in close quarters in large groups.. that's the key to stopping the spread. This is what happens when fear is put before intelligence. I bet this is playing out all over the world. Sad...
-
What? How did "shutting things down" cause this? You're claiming closings schools and public gatherings somehow forced everyone into the airport?
