Voter registration if you have a criminal record:
✔️Violations & misdemeanors do not interfere w/ your right to vote but you must request a ballot if you’re incarcerated for a misdemeanor
✔️You’re not eligible to vote if you’re currently incarcerated due to a felony conviction

Voter registration if you’re on parole:
✔️You may be eligible to vote under the Governor’s conditional pardon for the voter registration program
✔️Check your status here: publicapps.doccs.ny.gov/ParoleeLookup/

Voter registration if you’re homeless:
✔️Home address=where you stay at night (ie, street corner, park, bus station)
✔️Mailing address=local advocacy org, shelter, or anywhere willing to accept your mail
✔️Mail-in registration requires a driver’s license # or last 4 # of SSN

✔️You can also use a valid photo ID or a copy of a current bill/gov doc that shows your name & address w/ mail-in registration (bring it w/ you to the poll)
✔️If none of the above applies, you can register in-person at the Board of Elections

✔️If you’ve become naturalized as a U.S. citizen as of October 9, 2020, you may register in-person at your county Board of Elections through October 24.
✔️If you’ve become naturalized before October 9, 2020, you must register by Oct 9
