Kap put his career on the line to stand up for racial equality and justice. Somehow someway you continue to miss the point. Get. A. Grip.

I haven’t missed anything . He didn’t do anything to help racial issues .
-
With all due respect, JJ Watt did a remarkable thing for Houston and im not taking anything away from it but Kaepernick put his career on the line to make a statement that some people still don't understand....or just don't want to
-
I understand why he’s doing it . I wish there were another way to get everyone to work together on it . Without using the National Anthem. I hope I’m making sense my friend
-
You're making sense. I hear ya.

Let’s not forget Kap gives each month out of his own pocket to charities need of financial support
-
Doesn’t give 35 million
-
Watt gave $35 million?
-
$250,000
-
Exactly! This argument is stupid. He helped raise money. Kap gave his own damn $.

It's absolutely ridiculous! I'm a HUGE JJ fan (LOVE him!) and I definitely believe he deserved to be GQ Citizen of the Year over Kaepernick! I mean, raising $37 million for Hurricane Harvey relief vs. refusing to stand for our National Anthem??
-
He can get that title next year. This is a yearly award. It will be ok.

Yes because like Watts, Kap is fighting for others. You may not care about the disparity between violence by police against people of color but Kapput his career on the line for this cause. Stop trying to make this about the anthem. It HAS NEVER been about the anthem.
-
He could protest any other time and nobody would ever have a problem with it. So it is about the flag, the anthem and this country that he hates.
-
If he protests at a time that nobody cares or even notices, what exactly is his protest going to achieve?
-
What has his protest achieved so far? Are police changing their policies? No. Nothing. He has accomplished nothing but division and negativity.
