    Our HIV Self Test will allow you to only if you add the right amount of blood. This is called the Sample Control Line,so if you don’t add enough you won’t get any lines. This is the only way you can be sure your result is valid. Not all tests have this feature.

    It's the 'cost' of putting 600,000 people per week (and their close contacts) in isolation plus re-testing. The balance of harms to benefits is more favourable the higher the real risk of Covid, so better to test higher risk groups, as we do for other screening programmes.

    I don’t grasp how repeat testing is as ‘harmful’ as an unsurveilled epidemic’d be. Mass testing controls/avoids harms of illness/death In case I’m misunderstanding, are you saying the main harm we risk is a need to PCR verify results of rapid tests? What do you propose instead?

    Too many corners are being cut in the race to find a Covid-19 antibody test | The Guardian.... and this doesn’t even discuss the usability issues..... or the fact that ⁦⁩ ⁦⁩ refuse to look at anything else..... 🤔🤷‍♀️

    After being getting HIV at birth since I was in the village my parents didn't have da information regarding HIV so they didn't take me to any hospital this made me so sickly every week not until 7 ys back when I was enrolled in care It's true treatment works

    Lack of transparency! Tell me about it! “Four ministers and three senior officials were approached but were non-responsive.” This has been our experience since 9th June, total stonewalling. It does make you wonder....

    It does also say in the article they are looking at other tests 🤔 Serious shame about the utter lack of transparency 🤥

    Another Guardian headline how DNANudge and LAMPore were chosen by the UKGov months ago. Well before anybody knew how well the tests work. Not a good way for the UK to choose the best tests Revealed: UK's rapid Covid test not yet approved by regulators
