Fear mongering isn't helpful. The city is grappling with an unprecedented economic decline that has thrown countless people out of work and housing. What you see on the streets is that crisis. Let's stick to facts. Crime is down 23.6% this year. https://www.sanfranciscopolice.org/stay-safe/crime-data/crime-dashboard …https://twitter.com/Jason/status/1316784539381886976 …

Honestly, you could just stay silent instead of engaging and sharing cherry-picked stats so dishonestly. Drug use is up. Homicide is up - some perpetrated by people you yourself refused to prosecute for past crimes. Burglaries are up, so is arson and car theft.

Very specific claims in your if true are pretty damning notable lack of any evidence to back those claims

Where’s the evidence for this “Homicide...some perpetrated by people you yourself refused to prosecute for past crimes” ? That is awful, if true

So for example the Emma Hunt murderer was caught two weeks earlier selling drugs to undercover cop. He was not charged and released. Now, after the murder, he still isn’t charged because it would me he’ll be deported—so Chesa prefers a criminal on the streets over deporting him.

Ok thank you. Drug dealing needs to be dealt with firmly so prosecution. What I’m doubtful about is prosecuting users rather than offering/mandating rehabilitation.
