The Capitol building was broken into and there was federal property damage. How is that peaceful?
Earlier today roughly 20 minutes after the initial push by protesters towards the Capitol from the mall. At the time I filmed this, while there was tear gas in the air, I had viewed no violent acts from either side and the protest was in my estimation entirely peaceful.pic.twitter.com/6oHOjxDgRy

Again. At the time none of that had happened. The protest was violent. Yes. But not at that time. I included that information to give context to the comments I made in this clip.
