    This is the same exhaustion I felt when people wanted to do cosplay interviews but ONLY asked about "that time you were fat-shamed online" and... that's it. Where's my "what's your favorite cosplay" questions? Where's the "what series are you into right now" questions?

    Let me tell you how thrilled I was when a friend asked me to be on a slash/yaoi panel because she knows I'm shipping trash. Like THANK YOU for asking me to be a fangirl. Yes I do diversity panels but that's on my OWN terms, don't assume that's the only thing I wanna discuss.

    While I'm here: Invite Black people to speak on panels about something besides diversity, please. We are subject matter experts in things besides race.

    Looks like new art will be revealed on the Kickstarter page when we reach 5 thousand (though on Facebook snippet won, so will probably share that at 5500 or 6 thousand) Only 162 to go before we hit 5 grand y’all!

    We're approaching 5K on the Kickstarter and I'm thinking of either sharing some new art OR a small snippet from the book. Which should I do? (it'll be shared in a Kickstarter update)

    I get what you're saying, but I'm talking about assholes getting caught and giving non-apologies, which leads to their fans going after victims, so then victims defending themselves gets painted as this "ugh call out culture" narrative instead of being taken seriously.

    Eh... this doesn't work when folks blindly follow said accused person based purely on "I like their content" to the point of ignoring/blaming victims. It's not really spreading dirt if the accused hurt someone/spoke against them and the person is defending themselves with facts.

    I agree within reason. When someone is spreading dirt, the other party should be able to defend themselves. Even if they did accused thing, they have the right to tell their story too. Abuser/cheater/scumbag or not.
