    I'm glad the ReOpen DC report suggests repurposing streets and public space to respond to this crisis. But this can't just be for businesses, and can't just be filed under "other."         This map is speculative fiction, not a detailed proposal, but it illustrates the scale we need to be thinking on. Cities will either recover or scrape by depending on how well we accommodate our new reality; right now our most abundant public asset is stuck in 2019 (or earlier).

        To be fair the city isn’t doing this yet. We need to put pressure on the mayor to actually LEAD on this issue. I’m 100% behind my Councilmember @BrianneKNadeau on this one!
