Beyond the politics of the Trump administration - Ivanka is not a woman in tech. She’s not a CEO. She has no background.
It’s a lazy attempt to emulate diversity - but like all emulation it’s not quite the real thing.

3/ Ivanka is not one of us.
Frankly, she would not be welcomed in women in tech circles because her politics harm everything we fight against in our careers.
#CES should be ashamed of itself. And journalists should stand with us in their coverage.

, actually the egregious Ivanka is Mrs. Kushner, not Mrs. Trump. She was once Miss Trump. There is no sign, that we know of, that she has ever been married to her father or to one of her brothers.

From what I can tell, she’s the “math is too hard, I’m too pretty to work” type. Those stereotype girls that get by because they are prettier than those around her. “Lucky or good”? Some days, I wish I was lucky. “Good” is useless in those frustrating days.

You do realize she is not there to talk about Tech. Do some research. She is there to talk about what the government is trying to put in place to help train people to get into Tech. Please try and read why people are there. TRUMP must be BAD.
