2/ I come from a military family - and to disrespect the highest award a member of the military can receive is an insult to everyone serving in uniform. Many Medals of Honor are granted posthumously, because the service member died fulfilling their duty.
3/ Civilians like Trump cannot earn the MoH. The highest civilian honor is the Medal of Freedom. There are so many reasons this man isn't fit to be president. But this is one that personally churns my stomach. It’s an insult to everyone who has given their life for our country.
He lives in a mental head-state where human beings are just things for him, where their loss, sacrifice, and suffering don't even register. He's not even aware they exist, I don't think.
