A pragmatic suggestion: Our current leaders will never take sexual assault and rape seriously. They built this system. They are protected by this system. It’s foolish to expect them to tear it down. WE HAVE TO RUN FOR OFFICE, and pass the policies they won’t. It’s the only way.

2/ My biggest lesson from Gamergate wasn’t about harassment. It was about the nature of power. The status quo will say what it has to say, and nothing will change. If we want institutions to treat women fairly, women must step up to run them.
