One problem with Obama unilaterally imposing DACA (which even he had admitted was illegal), is that now Republicans will use that as a defense of Pres. Trump's (possibly illegal) Exec. Orders on the payroll tax, etc. Each side's BS just empowers the other side to push more.

This 👆 We should be limiting the power of the presidency, not empowering it.

I've at least read the @NTU analysis of the tax authority. What else is there to justify the rest? Just a guess--a lot of times, these EOs take the form of "I direct the Secretary of X to do all possible things to execute Y."

SCOTUS recent ruling on DACA reinforced the viability, and validity of the concept of broad application of Exec.Orders.

Trump’s EO isn’t meant to be done. It’s just political pressure on Congress to pass a bill. And it’s brilliant.

Yup. Same thing with Filibuster ... they want it when it's convenient for them thinking the other side will never be in power again. To be fair though, Obama expected Hiliary to win and had that happened, no Republican would ever be elected again.

The tug-o-war that has been pulling harder on each side. It's all just lunacy!

ONE. HUNDRED. PERCENT. I cannot STAND any Executive Order. They are totally unconstitutional in my view and just as valid as saying abortion is in the constitution. The entire intent of our republic is to have slow deliberate changes in legislation. BY THE LEGISLATURE.
