I've got your back, Georgia! I understand physical mobility leads to social mobility. We're expanding MARTA to make it easier for all Georgians to thrive.

It's really wild just how radical the Republican Party is and how little attention that fact gets.

“In Tarrant County alone, 815 ballots were rejected over the ID rule—3 in the Republican primary and 812 in the Democratic primary. Those interviewed for this story said they could not provide a definitive reason for the discrepancy between the parties.”

Yes! "Demagoguery" ... my continuing campaign to Make The Word Demagogue Great Again is showing results. Republicans like Hawley are not populists, they are demagogues. It's an important distinction.

Sunday night was the Celtics' 9th road win by 20+ points. That breaks a tie with the 1968-69 season for most 20-point road wins in franchise history.

This is a good point. They've been able to move Al around as a playmaker in the short mid-range, sort of a rough equivalent of a false 9 in soccer.

This Celtics team just looks so good sometimes.

Nikola Jokic should be the runaway MVP. This Nuggets team has very little except him (without Murray and MPJ), but they are really tough when he is on the court.

Many took ivermectin instead of a vaccine — some left or refused to go to a hospital to take this and die at home. People lied about this for a full year. And for what? Social media followers? Substack donations? They will never face a single consequence.

Struggles like these make a man long for the days when he can kick back with his wife and plan insurrections without the pressures of work, amirite?

I’m sorry but it’s an absolute indictment that Elizabeth Bruenig rather than a serious left foreign policy thinker like Matt Duss or Van Jackson is writing this for the Atlantic.

We talk a lot of shit about the Gilded Age, but Andrew Carneige’s wealth was about $100 billion dollars adjusted for inflation and that guy built over 3,000 public libraries AND the top marginal income tax rate was 80%.

This is absolutely wrong. Evangelical politics are about cultural revanchism rather than doctrinal matters, so anti-abortion and the anti-trans stuff exists hand in hand with anti-CRT racial grievance politics. It's not "secular," it's ecumenical.

I still think people haven't wrapped their heads around how transformative this is. The Democratic Party raises record-breaking sums, and it's overwhelming driven by small donations.
