I hear ya. At some point your Personal Assistant will know you to a much deeper level and serendipitously propose music and other media/data that is closely aligned to what you like. When it gets it wrong, it will learn.

No one wants that because it takes away part of our humanity. Our choice of art cannot be decided by a computer. We will always want to see artwork. The utility of seeing a simple list that can be graphically modified cannot efficiently be replaced by a voice.

Indeed it is our humanity that drives the need for humans to talk. This interaction allows for a highly creative state. It is why we prefer to talk to a significant other and not text (hopefully). Voice connection aids in human attachment, attention, connection.
