I think the relevant conversation is about the how, not the if. There is a reason that, post Siri, nearly every top tech Co is investing billions in this war. Like search, there will be a big winner(s) and whomever prevails will rule the digital revenue streams of the future.

We’re in the first inning. BE’s observations ring true on where we’re at, but as 3rd-parties join this game in a meaningful way just like the “App Store effect” on mobile this game changes in a big, big way.

Dag, absolutely. The effect of Dynamically Evolving Cognitive Architecture and a rich and vibrant ecosystem will form the useful taxonomies and ontologies. A computer or smartphone could not “answer infinity questions” until someone programed a path...
