It is extremely annoying to be next to some idiot either talking to someone or Siri as in 1. It's rude!

Alex, Indeed. I fully agree. If I was at Apple Pizza Phone would have never been a promoted modality. Showing anyone doing it hurts Siri.

My phobia is simply that Siri won't understand what I'm asking. Still nowhere near as good on my iPad Pro as Google Now is on my phone
-
Jon, I hear ya. This is true. There are many reasons. I think we will see a better Siri on all levels by year end.

1/2 The movement in image 1 looks a bit silly and is ergonomically poor. This is the problem with near-field microphones. Airpods = better
-
Bret, indeed. The pizza phone is a bad metaphor for Apple to promote. It has created the phobia issues some have in public use.

Image 1, pizza phone Siri, phobia is nonexistent in China per my observations.

2/2 Image 2 suboptimizes b/c you only get voice and audio and don't have immediate access to screen. Again, Airpods solve this.

Any idea why Apple took away Raise to Siri? Figured it took battery and didn’t get enough use.
